The Atlanta Vibe is a professional women’s volleyball team that competed in the inaugural 2024 and sophomore 2025 season of the Pro Volleyball Federation. As a brand-new team in a brand-new league, the Vibe engaged HBE to build brand visibility and public awareness on both local and national levels.

As a brand-new team in a brand-new league, the Vibe engaged HBE to build brand visibility and public awareness on both local and national levels.

HBE played a critical role in launching the Atlanta Vibe’s public presence, driving early media attention and connecting the team with potential commercial partners. The campaign’s success led to continued collaboration into the second season, with sustained local and national media coverage and growing brand recognition in the Atlanta market and beyond.

Challenges

Establishing visibility for a new sports franchise in a crowded entertainment and sports market. Building credibility and interest in a new league with limited public awareness. Attracting sponsorship and ticket sales without an established fanbase or track record. Securing national and local media coverage during a competitive news cycle.

Solutions 

HBE executed a rapid publicity strategy, securing high-impact media placements within six months. Achieved a live player interview on CBS Mornings during a key broadcast slot (Thanksgiving morning). Generated buzz around the team’s player draft, landing mentions in over 30 media outlets. Facilitated meetings with major potential sponsors like Chick-fil-A and ticket sellers like Ticket Boat. Continued promoting the team into its second season, securing coverage in outlets such as the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, El Nuevo Georgia, Atlanta 69’s Focus Atlanta, Univision, and another segment on CBS Mornings
