Bob Hope, Founder

In Atlanta, there’s only ever been one Bob Hope. He is commonly regarded as a PR and marketing icon and one of the most influential business and civic leaders in the state of Georgia. Bob founded HBE with his business partner, Paul Beckham, in 1994 after a storied career serving the likes of Ted Turner and Turner Broadcasting, the Atlanta Braves, the Atlanta Hawks, The Coca-Cola Company, and a stint in NYC as a VP at Burson-Marsteller (now Burson). He has spent the following 30+ years continuing his legacy as a PR mastermind, developing campaigns for clients including Google, Southern Company, Home Depot, Norfolk Southern, Chick-fil-A Foundation, a variety of sports teams and nonprofits, and countless others. In addition to his veteran status in the industry, Bob is known as one of the most well-connected businessmen in Georgia – his executive networking capability is one of the most sought-after services in metro Atlanta. While he is deeply devoted to his Atlanta roots and volunteers his time extensively at home, his compassion extends all the way to Central America. He founded the HAVE Foundation (Honduras Agalta Valley Education) and annually leads a group of civic and business leaders to travel to rural Honduras to improve schools, villages, medical clinics, and drinking water conditions.
