HBI Runs Billboard Campaign
H-B RUNS BILLBOARD CAMPAIGN

Hope-Beckham hopes to position itself as a firm offering "Kick-Ass" PR and event marketing services when it launches an outdoor advertising campaign in Atlanta on Sept. 1, according to Bob Hope, President. He believes that line reflects H-B's aggressive approach to PR as evidenced in its recent push for Vanilla Coke.

Billboards, according to Hope, are a good way to capture the attention of executives when they are driving around the city, or while they are downtown.

Hope says H-B plans to have its K-A billboard on a "huge tower" that had a Sprint ad. His efforts, however, to slap posters on the sides of Atlanta's MARTA buses haven't panned out. "They acted as if they wished we hadn't asked them about putting the K-A signs on the buses," said Hope, a former Burson-Marsteller executive VP, Atlanta Braves/Hawks VP, and Coca-Cola exec. For MARTA, H-B has come up with a "Killer PR" logo.
