Pepsi Ball
Pepsi-Cola Company had a goal of branding Pepsi on and around college campuses. Hope-Beckham responded with an idea to create, develop and execute a completely new interactive sport. Through suggestions from focus group interviews of high school and college students, a unique game was established. MIT students specially designed a ball for the game. Pepsi Ball gave all participants and observers a sense of fun and activity associated with the Pepsi brand. The game was a part of spring break and college tours for five consecutive years. Some colleges and universities still incorporate the sport into intramural sports programs.
